Participants
All 6th, 7th and 8th grade students who live in Boston and Cambridge or attend Boston or Cambridge schools, organizations, after school programs, community programs, or religious institutions.

Categories
Painting, Sketches, Photography, Collage, Drawing, Poetry, Essay, Short Stories, Skits/Plays, Spoken Word, Dance/Step, Song/Rap, Short Film

Themes
Safety, Healthy Eating, Physical Fitness, Health Disparities, Urban Health Issues, Oral Health, Public Health, Heart, Lung, Blood and Kidney, and diseases.

Prizes
Contest winners receive cash prizes or gift certificates!

Deadline
All submissions are due March 9, 2012.

Celebration/Event
All contest entrants are invited to attend the Reflection in Action celebration on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Harvard Medical School. All entrants must be accompanied by a teacher, parent or chaperone.

Performance category winners will be invited to perform for the entire audience. Winning visual arts and written entries will be displayed, and all contest entrants will be recognized.
